Besides obsessing over that (😍) I’ll also spend the month of June busy and happily supporting my virtual assistant and affiliate program clients who are up to some cool things.

Yesterday I shared about the financial benefits of Yesterday I shared about the financial benefits of hosting a Summit but today I want to talk about some of the other types of results that come from hosting a Summit!

For me, the biggest benefit to hosting a Summit (other than massive list growth and income from ticket sales!) is that I was able to expand my network by connecting with the speakers who I had in the Summit. 

While some of my speakers I already personally knew or were connected to, I also invited in speakers who I did not previously know.  Through my Summit, I was able to get to know them and now quite a few additional collaboration opportunities have opened up as a result.  It also opened doors for speaking invitations from others.

Another cool win that comes from hosting a Summit is that it increases your visibility really quickly… When you are the host, you are the one being tagged in all of your speaker’s promo on social media, which helps increase your visibility on Instagram (or whatever platform your speakers are promoting you on.) I’ve also personally found that this increased visibility lasts quite a while after the Summit, too!

A summit also positions you as the go-to expert/thought leader in your niche, and also instantly elevates your status in your online community. 

Summits are a ton of work, but they are also a ton of work and do SO MUCH for your business growth!  I cannot recommend hosting one to grow your business highly enough.

How summits make you money… In my experience, the How summits make you money…

In my experience, the number 1 reason to host a virtual summit is because you can grow your email list with your ideal audience by thousands in a short amount of time. 

But… You can also make 💸 from hosting your summit, too!

When you host a virtual summit, people can sign up for a free ticket that gives them access to the sessions for 1 day only; or they can upgrade to a VIP Ticket for $27 {or whatever amount feels good to you and makes sense!} and get forever access to the sessions.  With your VIP ticket, you are also giving them a bunch of valuable bonus gifts to make the VIP ticket even more enticing for them to buy.

While a lot of people will just grab the free ticket, in my experience with my own summits, you can realistically expect about 10% to 15% to upgrade to a VIP ticket!

If you have 1000 free sign ups >> 100 VIP tickets sold = $2700.
If you have 2000 free sign ups >> 200 VIP tickets sold = $5400.

And up and up from there.

At my first Summit, I had 1200+ free ticket sign ups, and sold 210 VIP tickets.

At my second Summit, I had 1400+ free ticket sign ups, and sold 258 VIP tickets.

As you can see, my summits not only helped me grow my email list significantly, but it also brought in income for my business.

Why I hosted my first Summit (and why you might wa Why I hosted my first Summit (and why you might want to host one too!)

In January 2025, I was doing what I always am doing: thinking about how to grow my business. 😅  I knew that if I wanted to sell more of my products & services, I needed to grow my email list full of my ideal clients.

So that January I was thinking about ways I could quickly do that.

I didn’t have the knowledge or tons of money to throw at facebook ads that may or may not work, so I was looking for an easier way to grow my list.

That’s when I got the idea to host a Summit for the product seller community (my target clients!)

So I started planning right away, and doing all of the one thousand to do’s that go into hosting a Summit.  My first Summit, The Product Seller Summit, was a five day event with 17 speakers, and my Summit brought in 1200+ new people to my email list within the three week promo period for the summit. 

When reviewing my data at the end of 2025 (hashtag nerd lol), I realized that almost every single person who had signed up to work with me or bought something from me that year had first joined my list because of my Summit.

I hosted the Summit again this past April, and added another 1400+ new people to my email list, and also brought in revenue through VIP ticket sales, which is the icing on the cake! 

So, I share all that to say that I cannot recommend hosting a Summit highly enough if you want to grow your email list full of your ideal potential clients, and make income doing so! 

But I will be very honest with you: Summits are also a boatload of work. Like, soooo much work.  But when done well, they can do wonders to help you grow your email list and get in front of potential clients quickly.
